I built my art career on the streets — literally. For years, I painted on the cobblestones of Galway, on my hands and knees, figuring it out one spray can at a time. I didn’t have connections, mentors, or a roadmap. Just a stubborn love for creating and a belief that art could be my way of connecting to something bigger — to myself, to others, and to the world.
It wasn’t easy. It was cold, lonely, and humbling. But it taught me something priceless: art has the power to save people — sometimes quietly, one painting at a time. I’ve been given so much through this journey, and now I want to give back.
My goal is to create a place where anyone can walk in and feel like they belong — a community art space where creativity isn’t limited by money or fear. I want this building to support artists the way I wish I’d been supported: free supplies, free coffee, warmth, workspace, and connection. A place where you can make something honest, meet others who are doing the same, and maybe even find a piece of yourself in the process.
This isn’t just about art. It’s about soul — about making something real in a world that’s forgotten how.
